About Us

The Oklahoma Indian Nations Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America is a state chapter affiliate of SWANA International, America's premier association of working solid waste management professionals.  SWANA and its state chapters are dedicated to advancing the practice of environmentally and economically sound management of municipal solid waste in North America.  Over 100 members strong, the Oklahoma chapter strives to fulfill this purpose through activities including an annual conference, SWANA-certified training events, and partnered training events with the Oklahoma Dept. of Environmental Quality.  The Oklahoma chapter is recognized by the IRS as a non-profit, 501-c-3 charitable organization.
